In 2007 world longest lightening bolt was recorded. It was struck over the state of OKLAHOMA. According to WMO ( World Meterological Organization) announced this electrying result.

This lightening bolt travelled over the 3 quarters of the length of the state. It almost travelled 199.5 miles near to 321 km on the month of june 21,2007.

This WMO recorded long flash of lightening bolt about for 7.74 seconds over different areas like Province_Alpes_Cote d'azur, France on 30 august 2012.

Lightening was included in WMO and world weather and such like other organization.
